Most medication, including Proactive acne cream, bought or prescribed in the Western world is wasted. I say that not because it is dispensed for the wrong conditions, but because we, the patients, either don’t take the medication at all or we only part-complete the course and end up throwing the rest away.

That’s a question I get asked regularly, and the answer to that question is yes – if the treatment doesn’t work for you, however if it does, it might just be excellent value for money.

I want to say straight off that Proactive Acne Cream is not the cheapest acne medication on the market, but you are probably going to think that it represents good value for money if it does what you are looking for. There are two vitally important factors to consider when choosing an acne treatment, they are:

1. What is the right medication for you? – There’s only one way to find this out, and that’s to experiment. Proactive Acne Cream – Is It Right For You?

If you read in a newspaper or magazine, or anywhere on the Internet for that matter, about an acne treatment that is effective for 100% of the patients who use it, I would advise you to take that article or advertisement with large a grain of salt.

Why? For the simple reason that we are all individuals…… we all look different, we all think different, and surprise surprise we all react differently to different medication.

That’s not to say there are not medicines available that will work for most of the people who take them, but as far as I’m aware, there isn’t one single clinical trial that shows a medicine as having a 100% success rate – and I’m talking about all conditions or diseases, not just acne. In a lot of cases, a 65% success rate is thought of as being very good – if you know any doctors, ask them, and I’m sure they will confirm that statistic.
